Do you make custom orders?

Yes, custom orders are available. Please contact us with your colour ideas/preferences. Custom orders must be paid for in full before the item is created.

Can you make a piece that looks like another piece?

We can absolutely try to make a piece that looks similar to another, but it is impossible to make them look exactly the same. Every piece is original and due to the techniques and materials used, they will never be exactly the same.

How should I clean my artwork?

You can treat resin artwork much the same as glass. Instead of using a glass cleaner like Windex, use a little bit of water on a clean microfibre cloth to lightly buff the surface of your artwork. This works well for both resin serving trays and resin coasters.

For resin cheeseboards, handwash the cheeseboard with warm soapy water and allow to dry naturally. Do not immerse in water. Not dishwasher safe.

What else should I know?

Artworks which are made on mdf and wood are sensitive to weather and should not be hung in outdoor or wet/humid areas. In addition, all artworks made with resin should not be placed in areas that are exposed to direct sunlight, as the vibrancy of the resin finish and other mediums may fade over time. 

Once resin has fully cured, it produces a very glossy, hard and smooth finish, but it is still susceptible to being damaged from scratches and/or gauges. Be very careful when handling resin artwork and keep the resin finish protected if you need to move or transport it.

SHIPPING

Orders for in-stock items are packaged and shipped Monday through Friday. Unless otherwise stated, orders are shipped within 3 business days after the order date. Orders placed during the weekend or on holidays will be processed the next business day.

Custom orders take an additional 10 business day to be processed and shipped to allow time for the item to be created and cured before being packaged and shipped.

Disclaimer: All items are inspected and photographed before leaving the studio. They are packaged appropriately and carefully to prevent any damage from occurring during shipping.

However, packages may experience extreme fluctuations in temperature during the shipping process, mostly during the winter months (November - March), which can negatively affect the resin and possibly cause cracks in the item. This is particularly relevant for items made with resin and wood, as wood is a natural product that expands and contracts with temperature changes. Wood is flexible and is capable of returning to its original shape afterwards, but resin is not flexible and if it is placed under pressure from the wood expanding and contracting, it may crack as a result. This is completely beyond our control and any items that are affected by extreme temperature fluctuations during shipping are not eligible for refund or replacement.

Customers who request shipping of items made with resin acknowledge the potential of such a scenario occurring and accept that no refund or exchange for the item will be given if it is negatively affected by temperature fluctuations during shipping.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

All sales are final. If any damage occurs to an item during shipping*, or if you are unhappy with your piece in any way, please contact me within 3 business days to discuss.
